A Nantgarw Porcelain plate decorated with a Derby style three rose central decoration with the matching border of six groupings of seven roses surrounded by rich gilding. W.D. John in his book Nantgarw Porcelain Album states this service was probably painted by James Turner at the Sims Workshop London and a plate from this service is shown illustration 40.
